Keeping on the track of doctors and lawyers: Yet another Lawyer Joke – Billing for advice – found by Legally Mine Laughs

A doctor and a lawyer were attending a cocktail party when the doctor was approached by a man who asked advice on how to handle his ulcer. The doctor mumbled some medical advice, then turned to the lawyer and remarked, “I never know how to handle the situation when I’m asked for medical advice during a social function. Is it acceptable to send a bill for such advice?” The lawyer replied that it was certainly acceptable to do so.

The next day, the doctor sent the ulcer-stricken man a bill. The lawyer also sent one to the doctor.

A lawyer calls his client to tell him about his fee schedule.

“Alright,” the lawyer says looking through his papers. “You owe me $1000 down and $417.58 cents each month for the next thirty-six months.

“What! That sounds like a car payment schedule,” retorted the client.

“Your right. It’s mine.”

This made me smile, and I needed it.

Do you ever have those days where you just feel like life and the world are pulling you apart?  Well take a moment, sit back and smell the roses!  Life is good but it is busy and so sometimes we forget to stop and see the wonder and beauty all around us.

Life is hard and a humorless life is even harder!

The purpose of this blog in the ensuing days, weeks, months and years - is to make you laugh!  Life is hard and a humorless life is even harder!  So as an employee of Legally Mine LLC, I get to see first hand everyday the stress and heartache that comes to people as a result of the lawsuit epidemic that is sweeping our great land of America.

While we here at Legally Mine are doing our best to try to help individuals prepare for and against the almost inevitable lawsuits that face the large majority of business owners, I thought that I could wage my own little personal crusade to help people smile through the stress.
